Hey Benny (a.k.a. Mr. Cute & Adorable);

I am so grateful you survived the car accident. Seems to me there's a good reason for that. Tons of them, I'm sure, but particularly - selfishly - because I would not have been able to make the drastic life changes that I've made recently if it weren't for you. I would not have had the strength without your encouragement to hang in and get well. You are an inspiration and an amazing example of getting on with life. I can now get on with my life and be happy. I can't tell you that enough (I know, I can't shut up, sorry) and I'm glad I will have the opportunity to tell you in person in a couple of weeks.

Hmmmm! Looks like there's gonna be a little competition for your attention at Inner Harbor...LOL

Can't wait to see you there and to hear the older songs LIVE!!! Hurray!!!

i've been meaning to write to you but because my whole right arm has been paralyzed (i'm right handed and it looks like i'll fully recover even though doctors said i wouldn't). i also had a bad car accident in july 2006 and got airlifted to a boston hospital cause i was dying quickly. i've been either close to or thought they'd be pronouncing me dead six times these past 5 years... i've fought hard and am scarred up but doing it all against every single doctor's odds.

a few months ago i was losing steam, spirit and the will to live. then i remembered all the struggles and anguishes in your life and i told my family i was going to think of you when i can't fight no more. when i was in a 3 week coma from car accident, my family was told to bring in music. that's right they bought in your cd to play while i was in a coma. they know all your items i have are SACRED!

anyway i might do up a tape cassette and mail it out to you where i can't write and this one finger typing is tedious. don't know if a fan has ever sent you a voice fan letter. let's see if i have the guts and end up doing one for you.

thanks for all the music. you inspire and help me get better; right now i'm really in a deep funk. and into the night always seems to play on the radio when i need a spiritual lift. thank you..... i've loved getting to finally see you live three times in syracuse. you're great and still as adorable as ever!

I see you haven't wrote in awhile. 2008 is almost over, and I had a great one - I got to see the man I have been in love with since I was 17 (sneaking into clubs or wherever- I am now 42) four times.....Syracuse, Sylvan Beach, Fireworks over CNY and most recently Turning Stone.
Turning Stone was an awesome show......I only wish I had an opportunity to hang with you for one day....You rock and you are still my sweetie and the Man!!! You looked great at the Casino and I loved when you came out running on stage....I get goose bumps thinking about it...You are always in my thoughts and I wish you only the best!!!!

Hi Benny, hope you are doing well. Louise brought me up to date on you (we were nurses together at St. Agnes). I'm proud of you, it's a long way from the Savage Teen Center, take care, Bette-Carole.

I'm quite happy to find that you're still working & performing. From the way you put yourself into "Into the Night", I had assumed that you had retired after that album. I didn't think any human being's voice could hold up at that level for very long.

That is one of the most powerful vocal performances I've ever heard. Thanks for the music.
